A fully loaded (ok, over loaded) 17' freighter canoe (from Kanoe People - THX) which was half of our flotilla to cross 26 miles of Lake Bennett.  Eight kayaks, three people, and then when the wind picked up, six foot swells made for a very hairy run... I wanted to be back in the canyon.

If it weren't for the two kayaks attached like outriggers, we would not have made it back to Carcross, instead we'd be on shore eating the flesh of the recently deceased.  (ok we did have a couple power bars left too)
