derrick_shannon_rapid3.jpg (70266 bytes) My first time in a canoe running whitewater (class III no less!) guided by the patient and competent Shannon.  I found out quite quickly that canoes do not turn as quickly as kayaks ;-)

 

I took my kayak down the following day, but with so little water it was quite obvious that the real fun was had in the canoes.
